The Greensboro College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted Sports Youth Day on April 19th at the Royce Reynolds Family Student Life Center.

GC SAAC welcomed three first-grade classes (26 students) from nearby Hampton Academy. Sports Youth Day ran from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Youth day participants went to four stations: football, basketball, soccer and golf. The kids stayed at each station four 30 minutes. At the end of the day, Pride student-athletes handed out achievement certificates to the first graders.

"Overall, it was a great day for the kids to get out and do some sports," said Paul Suhr, GC golfer and SAAC President. "It was good to see teamwork in action and all of it come together to put on a great day for the kids."
