scored in the 98th minute--her first goal of the year-- to lift Messiah
College over the University of Chicago, 2-1, in an NCAA Division III semifinal
match at Macpherson Stadium on Friday.
The unbeaten Falcons (21-0-1) advance
to face umblemished TCNJ (22-0-2) in the 2005 NCAA Division III championship
game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Messiah scored first in the 45th
minute. Corrie Jones finished a cross from Rachel Horning for the tally.
The Maroons (18-3-2) knotted the
match in the 58th minute when Monica Michelotti scored her fourth goal
of the season.
The evenly contested match saw Messiah
out-shoot Chicago, 17-14. Andrea Przybszc grabbed four saves for Messiah
and Maroon Cassie Grose had six stops.
