Greensboro, N.C. -- Kai Kasiguran
scored two goals to lead Messiah College to a 3-0 win in an NCAA Division
III semifinal match at Macpherson Stadium on Friday. Teammate David McClellan
added one goal and one assist for MC.
The defending champion Falcons (23-0-0)
advance to face the winner of the Gustavus Adolphus-Whitworth semifinal
match.
Kasiguran scored his first goal with
in the 11th minute on an assist from McClellan. The score remained 1-0
at halftime.
Kasiguran tallied from Patrick Lenehan
in the 49th minute. Five minutes later, McClellan converted a penalty kick
for his team leading 20th goal. Ryan Edwards tallied the game's last score
in the 70th minute.
Plattsburgh ends its season at 22-2.
Zach Manning stopped six shots in goal for the Cardinals.
