If I am a transfer student, do I have to participate in Précis?
Transfer students are encouraged to attend Précis as you will need to participate in academic advising sessions and are invited to all the programs. Your arrival date is also Saturday, August 23 (or August 23 between 1 pm- 3 p.m. if you do not live on campus).

If I attend Campus Connection, do I have to attend Précis in August?
Yes. Précis is not a repeat of Campus Connection, the early orientation program. The information you receive in August will be much more detailed. What if I have paid my bill, completed the Monthly Payment Plan and/or filed for all financial aid?
You will be presented a CLEAR card at the check-in table on your arrival day that will allow you to move in immediately. You will also be cleared to register for classes. If you still have financial obligations upon arrival, you will need to visit the appropriate office(s) before moving in or registering for classes. The process is designed to go as smoothly as possible but may require a wait depending on your circumstances. It is preferable to sign all necessary forms and pay all bills prior to your arrival.
