The Student Health Center is conveniently located on the first floor of Greensboro Building, directly above the cafeteria. Care is provided for all students' illnesses or injuries. Referrals are made to outside specialists, Moses Cone Hospital, and/or other medical facilities when such care is indicated. Students are seen on a walk in basis; no appointment is necessary. Health services are provided by a physician and a registered nurse. The central focus of Student Health is prevention, education, self care and wellness. The staff encourages the students to be full participants in their own health care.
