    • Adult Education

      This is an organization composed of non-traditional students who share common concerns and issues confronting the adult learner at Greensboro College. Monthly meetings are held during the academic year with the Adult Education advisor.

    • Alpha Chi

      Alpha Chi is a national honor society open to seniors ranking in the top ten percent of their class and juniors ranking in the top five percent. Members of Alpha Chi have distinguished records in regional and national activities of the organization. Inductions are held twice each year.

    • Alpha Kappa Delta

      The Greensboro College Omicron Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta is open to all juniors and seniors who have a major in sociology or who demonstrate a serious interest in sociology and who have a 3.0 grade point average.

    • American Marketing Association

      The purpose of this group is to provide a forum for interaction among students interested in advertising, public relations, personal selling, or other marketing related fields and to develop knowledge and skills relevant to careers in marketing.

    • Art Student League

      An organization for students interested in expanding their knowledge of art. The Art Students League is open to all students interested in the visual arts.

    • Athletic Training Club

      ATC is a club for students in the field of Athletic Training. Students will participate in Athletic Training related functions and learn the basic knowledge that a Student Athletic Trainer must acquire in preparation for the National Athletic Trainers Association Certification Exam.

    • Beta Beta Beta

      Tri Beta is a national biological honor society. Active members must have completed 12 hours of biology courses with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in those courses and an overall grade point average of 2.8. Associate members must have completed eight hours of biology courses and have a minimum grade point average of 2.8. Tri Beta is dedicated to the advancement of the biological sciences through its activities and projects.

    • Biology/Medical Careers Club (BMCC)

      The Biology/Medical Careers Club is open to any one interested in biology or medical related fields. We expose students to these various fields through the following: field trips, meetings, community service and speakers. BMCC also promotes community service and teambuilding exercises that are beneficial in future careers.

    • Celebrating Diversity Club (CDC)

      This organization serves to enrich individuals socially and culturally through the understanding and appreciation of various cultures and ethnic groups. This group intends to promote social awareness of diverse groups by challenging misperceptions and celebrating differences. CDC is open to all students who want to make a difference through diversity at Greensboro College.

    • Circle K

      Circle K is an organization for students interested in helping and serving others in the community who are in economic, social and financial need. Circle K assists community outreach services and works hand in hand with those organizations that pride themselves in helping others.

    • The Collegian

      The Collegian is the growing and ever-expanding official student newspaper. Run for the students, by the students, The Collegian serves as the campus watchdog. It covers world and campus events, sports, entertainment and student literary work.

    • Emmaus Community

      Membership into the Emmaus Community is comprised of those students, faculty and staff who have participated in the Emmaus weekend and who wish to continue to be involved in the on-going spiritual growth experience of existing "Day Four" groups.

    • Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

      The Fellowship of Christian Athletes presents athletes and coaches the challenge and adventure of serving Jesus Christ in their relationships and the fellowship of the church. FCA is not only limited to athletes, but is open to anyone in the Greensboro College Community.

    • Greasepaint and Halos

      Greasepaint and Halos is a Christian skit/clowning troupe whose purpose is to teach and share their faith through the Arts. Everyone is welcome to join.

    • Habitat for Humanity

      Habitat for Humanity's newest College Chapter is housed at Greensboro College. The aims of this campus organization are to support building or rehabilitating houses in partnership with the affiliate of Greater Greensboro; to educate the campus and local community about affordable housing issues; and to raise funds for the work of Habitat.

    • Interclub Council Honorary

      This organization rewards, recognizes and celebrates student organization leaders throughout the year. They host the annual Club Awards Banquet each spring and induct 12 exemplary student leaders each semester.

    • Kappa Delta Pi

      Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education, was organized to recognize excellence in education. Those elected to membership exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal and professional standards, and promise in teaching. It encourages self improvement, distinction in achievement and contributions to education. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career and a professional attitude that assures growth in the professional attitude that assures growth in the profession.

    • La Associatión de Los Amigos del Idioma Castellano(The Association of Friends of the Spanish Language)

      This group strives to promote awareness and understanding of the people and countries whose official language is Spanish by sponsoring events with a Hispanic theme.

    • The Lyre

      The Lyre is the campus literary magazine that is published once a year. The Lyre consists of poetry, fiction and art from the college community.

    • Mathematics and Computer Science Club

      This club is open to all students interested in mathematics and computer science. Its purpose is to promote the awareness of mathematics and computer science and its applications, and to enrich campus knowledge of the subjects.

    • Music Educators Association (MEA)

      The Greensboro College MEA is an organization composed of students that have declared music/music education as their major. Its purpose is threefold: 1) to give students the opportunity to develop professionally in music; 2) to make sure that the student has an understanding of the responsibilities of the music profession; and 3) to provide members with the opportunity to meet renowned leaders of the music profession.

    • North Carolina Student Legislature (NCSL)

      To provide students with an opportunity to examine and discuss important legislation proposed or enacted by the legislature from our campus and other schools in North Carolina.

    • Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK)

      ODK is a national leadership honor society that recognizes student leaders for exemplary performance in the following areas: scholarship; athletics; campus or community service; social religious activities; campus government; journalism, speech and the mass media; and the creative and performing arts. Members must be juniors or seniors and must rank in the top third of their class academically.

    • Pi Delta Phi

      This group recognizes outstanding scholarship in the French language and its literature, increases the knowledge and appreciation of Americans for the cultural contributions of the French-speaking world, and stimulates and encourages French cultural activities.

    • Pi Sigma Alpha

      This group is the honor society in political science. Student members must have completed 10 semester hours of work in political science with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in the courses and an overall grade point average sufficient to place the students within the upper third of their class. In addition to recognizing academic excellence in the discipline, Pi Sigma Alpha seeks to stimulate scholarship and intelligent interest in political science.

    • Pride CREW (Peer Educators)

      Pride CREW is for students who care about the health and welfare of their fellow students. Pride CREW is a place where the pressure is off and students can talk openly about issues that college students deal with including relationships, the use or non-use of alcohol or other drugs, sexual abuse, eating disorders, sexuality issues, HIV-STD's stress etc & If the concept of "Peers Helping Peers" is something you believe in, then Pride CREW is right for you! Peer Educators are selected each Spring to serve on the Pride CREW board for the following year.

    • Psi Chi

      Psi Chi is the national honor society in psychology. The purposes of the Society are to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology. Psychology majors and minors elected into Psi Chi must have completed at least nine semester hours of psychology, must rank in the upper 35 percent of their class in general scholarship in addition to having an overall grade point average of 3.0, and must demonstrate superior scholarship in psychology, earning a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in psychology courses.

    • Psychology Club

      The Psychology Club encourages and expands interest in psychology, using community and national resources to explore all areas of this field.

    • Residence Hall Association

      The Hill, Greensboro, and West Hall Councils are elected representatives of the residential community at Greensboro College. The Hall Councils are a resident's link to College council, College staff and faculty, and residence Life staff. In addition to representing the residents, Hall Councils sponsor residence hall events, information programs, campus-wide activities and community service projects.

    • Rotaract

      Rotaract is a worldwide organization devoted to volunteerism and is sponsored by Rotary International. Through community and international service projects, members help improve the lives of people around them. In doing so, they develop leadership and professional skills. Rotaract is service in action.

    • Sigma Beta Delta

      Sigma Beta Delta, international honor society in business, management and administration, was established to honor students who have attained superior records in business programs in schools and college with regional accreditation. Inductees are selected by the division of Business faculty from the top five prevent of each year's graduating class. Emphasis is given to those students who have completed a significant portion of their business courses at Greensboro College.

    • Sigma Delta Pi

      Tau Psi is the Greensboro College chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the international Spanish honor society. The society receives into its membership, irrespective of membership in or affiliation with other organizations, only those who attain its standards of high academic achievement in the study of the Spanish language, the literature and culture of Spain and Latin American nations, and other college-level subjects. To apply for active membership, students must have completed three years of study of college-level Spanish or the equivalent thereof, including at least three semester hours of a course in a Spanish of Spanish-American literature of civilization. The candidate must have a minimal grade point average of 3.0 in all Spanish courses taken and must have completed at least three semesters of college work. Sigma Delta Pi's mission is to foster love for and to raise awareness of and interest in the Spanish language and the literatures and cultures of Spanish-speaking people.

    • Sigma Tau Delta

      Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society, recognizes students with high achievement in English language and literature and provides opportunities to foster the discipline with others on the local, regional and international levels. To be eligible for induction, students must have an minimum 3.0 grade point average in English, rank in the top 35 percent of their class, and have completed at least three semesters of college work.

    • Sisters of Pride and Leadership

      SPL is the female counterpart to Theta Xi. They focus on community service, sisterhood, involvement, pride in self and school, trust, responsibility, leadership, and women's issues. SPL also offers by invitation only  membership.

    • Sociology Club

      The Sociology Club is open to all persons interested in sociology as a part of a liberal arts education. Meetings will focus on career opportunities, community applications of sociological principles and other sociological issues.

    • Student Ambassadors

      Student Ambassadors assist the Admissions and Alumni offices in attracting outstanding students to Greensboro College. They give campus tours, telephone applicants, represent the College at College Day programs, visit local high schools, host events on campus, travel to a variety of locations for admissions reception and have FUN.

    • Student Christian Fellowship (SCF)

      This club is open to all Greensboro College students and hosts weekly programs and a variety of activities including retreats, service projects, sharing groups, Bible studies and recreational activities.

    • Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC)

      SCEC is a student chapter of the National Council for Exceptional Children. Membership is open to anyone interested in advocating for the needs of our very special population. Membership benefits include educational publications and the satisfaction of helping those who need you.

    • Student North Carolina Association of Educators (SNCAE)

      This group is a branch of the National Education Association and the North Carolina Association of Educators. An extensive benefits program is a bonus in joining as well as participation in planning several programs and workshops during the year.

    • Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)

      SIFE is an organization of students enrolled in accounting, business, and legal administration courses. Members have an opportunity to increase their knowledge and experience through association with members of the local business community.

    • Student Government Association

      The Student Government Association is the group responsible for representing student interests and decisions which transcend the jurisdiction of the student body and/or involves serious issues with faculty, staff, or administration of the College.

    • Theta Xi

      Formerly GLS, the first Greek Life Club on campus. The organization focuses on community service, leadership development, and brotherhood. It is a "by invitation only" membership club for males.

    • Ultimate Pride

      Ultimate Pride is a co-ed Frisbee team here on campus. The club travels to other schools to compete in tournaments and has weekly inter-squad tournaments on Front Campus. Everyone is invited to join.

    • United African American Society (UAAS)

      The UAAS strives to encourage appreciation of the African American culture and to unite the student body of Greensboro College. This organization promotes the success and prosperity of African American students through various campus events, collaboration with other colleges and universities, and community service.
