The Exercise and Sports Studies Program at Greensboro College is an undergraduate, Bachelor of Science program. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in health promotion, health fitness and the sport industry. Students are also prepared to enter graduate programs in related disciplines. Students are given opportunities to explore career paths and employment settings by completing internships during their junior and senior years.
Students are provided with an interdisciplinary foundation comprised of 32 hours of core courses before selecting one of the four concentrations of specialization. Students are also encouraged to minor in a related discipline to support their work in the ESS program. The four concentrations include: Exercise Science, Sport Administration, Sport Behavior, and Sport Coaching.
