Welcome to the Friends of the Library.
As a member of the Friends of the James Addison Jones Library
at Greensboro College, you will assist in the important endeavor
of helping to provide much needed equipment and library materials.
The Library serves the students, faculty, administrators, and
alumni by providing excellent service and quality materials for:
curriculum support, research, study and career development. Our
friendly staff enjoys their work and the variety of people they
come in contact with every day.
As a part of the Friends of the Library family you will enjoy
the benefits extended to Friends members:
- Access and borrowing privileges
- Access to electronic resources at the library
- Computer use for word processing
- E-mail account
- Notification of College programs
- Reference services
In addition to these benefits you will also enjoy meeting many
people with similar interests and a staff who is always ready
to help. We provide each member a membership card for your use
in the library. Present this card when borrowing materials or
requesting services. We hope you will consider joining the Friends
of the Library and that we may enjoy many memorable years together.
